Get the most out of your workouts

If you go to the gym, you might see a small pile of resistance bands somewhere, not being used; this happens because most of the time, people aren’t a hundred percent sure of how to use them; so they often get unnoticed. People don’t know that these bands are so versatile and can be utilized in many different ways; they have as many uses as benefits. Discover all about resistance bands and get the most out of them.

General terms about resistance bands

There are different types of resistance bands. The thicker the width of the band, the more resistance it provides, therefore the harder it is to use. Resistance bands start at level 1 and go right up to level 6; being the level 1 resistance band the easiest to stretch. This means it’s more adaptable to exercises that require a greater range of movement. And it’s also way easier to use so it is ideal for anyone who is just starting out.

Moving up the levels, they get harder and harder to stretch out, until you reach level 6, which gives you the biggest resistance amount and it is the most difficult to extend, but the one that compensates your balance the most though.

They are usually made from rubber but the ones that our instructor Liana Veda created are made out of cotton. Liana Veda spent months creating and designing the perfect Body Band. Being a fan of intense workouts, she wants to push your limits in an effective way, that’s why she launched “LV Body Bands”, they come in all shapes and sizes, and with them, you never have to miss a workout again! Use your bands at home or even in the gym. LV Body Bands can be used to either add more resistance to bodyweight exercises or replace weights even equipment when you can’t make it into the gym.

Why are these training bands great for you?

They build strength: each band applies a certain amount of force on your muscles that makes them stronger and increases their size. This process is known as muscle hypertrophy.
They improve your range of motion: these bands are a great way to help you improve your flexibility and joint mobility.
They improve the quality of your workout: when you use these bands your muscles are under constant tension, which means the quality of each repetition is significantly improved.
They burn more fat: Exercising with these bands will greatly increase the amount of fat you burn during each workout. Adding resistance will cause your muscles to work harder and burn more calories than before.
They are multifunctional: LV Body Bands are all you need for full-body training, and they are also wonderful for rehabilitation. You can use these bands to train and recover any muscle, they are especially useful when it comes to working on hips, shoulders, and knee injuries.
They won’t snap or get sticky: LV Body Bands are durable. They work amazingly in hotter climates; unlike rubber long bands these won’t snap, get gummy or pull your skin. No more wasted money on rubber bands that break and need to be replaced.
You can take them anywhere: LV Body Bands are lightweight and come in an adjustable mesh pouch. Perfect to keep in your gym bag.
They are great for any fitness level: they come in different levels, so anyone from a beginner to someone who is more advanced in fitness can go ahead and use them. The intensity of any one of the bands can also be increased simply by adjusting your grip or stance. No matter what your fitness level, there is a band for you.
